Happy Monday :)

Oh my!  I've been MIA.  Sorry, guys.  My personal life and business life are all sort of jumbled right now.  Thanks for loving me and being patient with me through it all.  Y'all are awesome.

Thought I'd post some images from some sessions this weekend.  Go on Facebook to see more!  Enjoy.

{"B" Family | Session Sneak}

I could've photographed this beautiful little girl all.day.long.  No joke.  She is not quite 7 months yet, but she acts like she's been in front of the camera for years (I hear mommy takes lots of pictures, as she should!).  Her parents were just as great!  Thank you, "B" family!  What a joy you all were.  Hope to see you again!

{Monday-ness}

Hey everyone!  I hope you all have been having a fabulous Monday!  I'm one busy, busy, busy (did I mention busy?) lady these days.  Between lots o' photo sessions, taking care of my kids and trying to keep my house in some kind of order, my husband, kids and I are also getting ready to move to another house!  Wait, what's the point of trying to keep my house in order when I'm trying to pack?  Anywayyyyy...

My blog's kinda been pushed to the back burner, but don't forget - Boy & Girl Photography is on Facebook, and these days, that's the best place to see photos from my latest sessions.

For now, here are some yummy baby feet :)

{Lots of Cute}

The weekend is pretty much officially over for me.  It was a good one but a long one.  I am now ready.to.crash :)  Just a couple images of CUTE, CUTE kids I got to see (bigger previews to come later)!  Goodnight, all...

{"E" | 6 Months Old Session Teaser}

I like to think that my sessions are laid back.  I hope you all don't feel uncomfortable and nervous when I'm taking your pictures.  I sooo enjoy photographing you all, and I like to have fun - and I hope you all sense that.

One thing to consider if you're a "nervous" client is to have a session done in your home (and hey, it keeps you out of the cold!).  Having a session in your home is generally relaxing, calm, and even more-so laid back than a session outdoors, because you're in familiar surroundings, obviously, in your home.

I really like doing in-home sessions.  Your belongings and things in your home make your session really personal and unique.  So anyway, it's something to consider for that next session you want!

Besides a tumble backwards into the wall with her head (ouchie!), pretty 6 month old "E" was the perfect little model.  She was SUCH a pleasant baby!  This session was really about her, but we did get big sister "S" in some photos, along with mommy and daddy, too.

"S" family, I hope you enjoy your teaser!  Thank you for asking me into your home to do this session!

Yummy baby hands & feet!

Mommy is a great story-reader!

I love that baby "E" looks so little in daddy's arms!  And look at her sweet tummy peeking out! ;)

"Love Puppy" made into the family picture as well! :)

{Baby's First Christmas}

Little boy "W" is 5 months old.  Handsome, happy little guy!  When I arrived at his grandparent's house, he was out cold.  Visions of sugar-plums dancing in his head perhaps? ;)

As you can see, he woke up a happy little camper.  Sweet smiles.  Most of those smiles may or may not have come from seeing his pawpaw close by :)

I so enjoyed meeting you, little "W", and your mommy and grandparents!  Thank you for inviting me into your nana and pawpaw's home!  Merry 1st Christmas, little one!

No, I do not edit out baby drool.  I don't discriminate ;)

{"She will fill our lives with sunshine...And our hearts with love."}

I saw the above title quote recently (anonymous author?), and I couldn't help but think of it when I had a newborn session with this beautiful family.

Little Mae (just 2 weeks young), her big brother Sam (2 years old) and her mommy and daddy had me come to their home for this session, and I was delighted to take pictures of them in their environment.  It was cozy and warm, and what a lovely home they have!

Jennifer and Craig, thank you for asking me to capture these photos of your precious, beautiful little girl and your sweet, sweet family.  You all were definitely a treat!  Merry Christmas!

Perfect little Mae:

Love this little sequence of "look here, Sam", heh ;)

While mommy fed Mae, Sam and I played in his room...

Love his colorful room! - and those big BLUE eyes!

The game of putting things on our heads :)

Mae and Sam are in an old, old cradle.  If I remember correctly, Craig said it's from the mid 1800's.  How cool is that?!

So tiny on that big couch!

Dontcha love those little lips?
