{Sweet "P" Couple}

Love this sweet, adorable couple!  As I mentioned yesterday, they were one of the sessions that happened during the first snow of the season here.  This couple braved the wet, cold snow and even brought along their dog for a few photos.  I enjoyed every minute!  (and by the way, I didn't remove snow from the photos, so there's some natural haze/fog in some of the photos)

Just kidding!  It wasn't THAT cold ;)  But it was a COLD, windy afternoon in Winston-Salem, and the lovely little "A" family was great!  Thanks, y'all; it was a pleasure meeting you!

{First Snow of the Season}

Winston-Salem, NC (where I live) doesn't get much snow, but when we do, the whole city shuts down.  Well, not quite.  But enough :)  I. Love. It.  It started snowing this morning and is still snowing.  Anyway, I had 2 sessions scheduled for today, and I wasn't sure how things would pan out with the snow.  They ended up working out just fine.  The first one, we only caught a bit of the snow toward the end of our session.  The second session, snow was falling plentifully.  Thank you, Meredith and David, for being such great sports in the cold!  Here's one sneakie peakie ;)  More to come later of Meredith and David and the other family I photographed.  Happy (snowy) weekend to you all!

{Long, Slow Week}

It's been a long, slow week.  My daughter's been sick.  Photo sessions had to be canceled.  Natalie and I have been doing lots of cuddling, movie-watching, and popsicle-eating at home.  I hope to be back up and running this weekend, since my husband will be home to watch the kids so I can snap photos of y'all.  Well, some of you anyway :)

See my glassy-eyed daughter?  Bless.  I have no idea what the little white fuzzies are in her hair or on her face.  Probably tissue pieces.  Or dried snot.  Or just plain dirties from needing a bath.  Who knows.  Either way, she's still my pretty, pretty princess.

{"R" Family Session Sneak}

This family has made me feel right at ease from the first time I photographed them.  After that first session, I saw Heather again a few weeks later for a daycare session and a few photos of Heather and her daughter Ava Claire. 

Anyway, this time was no exception to feeling right at home with them, and Heather had her in-laws along for the session.  They are all the way from Iowa and such a wonderful couple!  Loved meeting them and getting to spend some time, again, with this family.  Heather told me there was not a specific reason for this session except that they just don't really ever take pictures with Nate's parents.  It was a rather cold (especially to those of us who are from NC, hah) morning when we did this session, but everyone was such a good sport.
